Focus on Nutrition and Aging: March is National Nutrition Month
This webinar will feature various March activities that will spotlight the importance of nutrition and the value of senior nutrition programs. Whether nutrition education, advocacy, or awareness-building, the role that aging professionals can play in helping to maintain the health and independence of older adults will be covered. Hear from representatives from the Administration on Aging (AoA), Administration for Community Living (ACL), the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics (AND), the National Association of Nutrition and Aging Services Programs (NANASP), and Meals on Wheels America as they describe the importance of upcoming activities this March.
In this webinar you will:
• Hear how national activities can help support senior nutrition programs to have a greater impact in meeting the nutritional needs of older adults;
• Learn more about nutrition education and advocacy resources that are available for senior nutrition programs; and

Holly Kellner Greuling
Holly is a registered and licensed dietitian, currently works at the Department of Health and Human Services, within the Administration for Community Living as the National Nutritionist for the Administration on Aging.
Dr. Wright is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Community and Family Health at the University of South Florida, College of Public Health.
Meredith Ponder is the Federal Policy and Advocacy Manager for the National Association of Nutrition and Aging Services Programs.
Erika is the Chief Advocacy and Government Affairs Officer at Meals on Wheels America. In this position, Erika serves as the lead staff responsible for developing the organization’s public policy initiatives and legislative strategies supporting Senior Nutrition Programs.
