National Home and Community-Based Services Conference

When: August 27 @ 8:00 am - August 31 @ 5:00 pm

While faced with new challenges, reduced budgets, and growing populations requiring more services, states are stronger than ever, and the work they do is more effective than ever in reaching individuals and addressing their needs.

The National Home and Community Based Services (HCBS) Conference highlights the changing environments that states face (reduced budgets, growing populations requiring more services, etc) and provides an opportunity to share best practices, showcase unique partnerships, and recognize the work of innovators. This meeting is a unique opportunity for federal, state, and local policymakers and those who administer, manage, and deliver waiver and other HCBS programs to meet, connect, and learn together.
The conference always sees a strong presence from U.S. Health and Human Services, ranging from the Administration for Community Living (including the Administration on Aging, Office of Disability, and Administration on Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities) to the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services, as well as the Health Resources and Services Administration, Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration, Office of Developmental Disabilities, and other federal agencies.
