National Home & Community Based Services Annual Conference 2018
States continue to effectively engage and serve their citizens despite facing new challenges, reduced budgets and a growing need for HCBS services. The National Home and Community Based Services Conference showcases their accomplishments, allowing states to recognize the work of their peers, share innovative programs and present unique partnerships.
This year’s Conference will be held in Baltimore, MD from August 27 – 30, 2018. As in past years, it will include federal, state, and local policymakers and those who administer, manage, and deliver waiver and other HCBS programs. The conference always sees a strong presence from U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, including the Administration for Community Living, the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services, the Health Resources and Services Administration, Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration, as well as other federal agencies.
Last year’s Conference was the largest to date, with over 1,500 attendees traveling from all 50 states, as well as Guam and the U.S. Virgin Islands!
