Million Hearts® is a web-based resource center developed by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services to unite communities, health systems, nonprofit organizations, federal agencies, and private-sector agencies from across the country as partners in the fight against heart disease and stroke. This website provides background information on this initiative, facts on the role of high salt consumption in the development of chronic health diseases, a diversity of resources are also available (i.e., videos, toolkits, treatment protocols, screening tools, action steps and strategies), and social media tools to stay up-to-date with Million Hearts® news and events.
