Health and long-term services and supports systems are changing quickly, as are the roles of community-based organizations in those systems. Attend this web seminar to hear from the Administration on Community Living (ACL) and the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) about new efforts to integrate care for people with Medicare and Medicaid, and how aging and disability organizations can participate. This web seminar will highlight the trends, opportunities and challenges facing community-based organizations as we work to help older adults and people with disabilities live successfully at home and in the community.

Participants in this web seminar will be able to:

  • Understand the shifting long-term services and supports (LTSS) environment;
  • Identify strategies to adapt to the changing LTSS environment; and,
  • List three opportunities for community-based organizations to engage with healthcare entities.

Presenters:

Kathy Greenlee, Assistant Secretary on Aging and Administrator, U.S. Administration for Community Living.

Tim Engelhardt, Director, Medicare-Medicaid Coordination Office, Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services.

Sandy Markwood, Chief Executive Officer, National Association of Area Agencies on Aging.
