Reopening Guidance for Senior Nutrition Programs

On April 16, 2020, President Trump unveiled the three-phased Guidelines for Opening Up America Again.  Developed as a collaborative effort between the National Resource Center on Nutrition and Aging, National  Association of Nutrition and Aging Services Programs, National Council on Aging, and the Administration for
Community Living (ACL), the following document provides some suggestions for senior nutrition programs to consider as their states move forward through those phases. This guide is not intended to be an exhaustive list of every aspect related to the safe handling of food.

Meals on Wheels America has hosted the National Resource Center on Nutrition and Aging (NRCNA) as part of a cooperative agreement since 2011 with the Administration for Community Living (ACL) ending on December 31, 2020. Please stay tuned for future updates as website changes are coming soon.
