This report emphasizes the need to ‘set a new table’ for long-term services and supports for older adults, and summarizes the vital relationship between adequate quality meals, nutrition services and health/wellbeing. A review of the purpose of the Older Americans Act Nutrition Program (OAANP), the population served by this program, and data on the impact of program participation, is also provided.
