General Use of the Collection
The National Resource Center on Nutrition and Aging is the owner of the compilation of content, including text, video, design, databases, software (collectively “Content”) posted on the Online Library. However, the National Resource Center is not necessarily the owner of each component of the Online Library. Some Content is in the public domain and some Content is protected by third party rights, such as copyright, trademark, rights of publicity, privacy, and contractual restrictions.
Much of the Content made available via the Online Library is in the public domain, and therefore is not under any copyright restrictions. Where copyright is a concern, the National Resource Center will seek to use reasonable efforts to ensure that information about the publisher and author is available and accurate but is not obligated to do so.
Users may make “fair use” of the Content as defined by copyright law. For more information on the United States copyright fair use law, please contact the United States Copyright Office or go to: http://www.copyright.gov/fls/fl102.html. Users shall be solely responsible for determining whether a use is fair and for responding to any claims that may arise from such use. Users are also solely responsible for contacting the author regarding any use or reproduction of copyrighted materials or about reproduction or reuse of linked resources.
Additionally, the Online Library provides links to a number of documents and articles published on external websites. Users shall understand that information published on such sites is not part of the “nutritionandaging.co” domain, and therefore, may be subject to copyright or other restrictions beyond the rights information provided in the Online Library. Users are responsible for contacting the publishing organization or other responsible entity directly with any questions about reproduction or reuse of linked resources.
Because of the nature of online collections, it is sometimes difficult to determine the original copyright owners of a specific work. If you find materials on the Online Library for which you believe you or others own the copyright, please contact us at [email protected] or 703-548-5558. Upon request, we will remove documents from public view while rights issues are being determined.
Reproduction, Reuse and Distribution Permissions
We do not require Users to contact us if they intend to copy, distribute or use documents and materials available via the Online Library, provided they adhere to the guidelines contained herein. However, we do appreciate hearing from individuals who make use of our collections – please feel free to contact us at [email protected] or 703-548-5558 to let us know what parts of the collection you find most valuable.
