ACL Listening Session for LTC Services and Supports Providers and Ombudsman Programs: Older Adults and Oral Health Education

The Administration for Community Living (ACL) and the Health and Human Services (HHS) Office on Women’s Health are undertaking a joint project titled: Creating the Foundation for National Replication of Community-Based Oral Health Programs for Older Adults. In addition, ACL is working with the HHS Health Resources and Services Administration on a Mapping Tool to help older adults locate low cost dental care at Community Health Centers.

This listening session will allow us to hear from long-term care services and supports providers and long-term care ombudsman programs about your oral health educational needs. The ACL presentation will last 10 minutes. The remaining 40 minutes will be an opportunity to ask questions and share your needs and suggestions around older adult oral health. We look forward to hearing from you about your community’s oral health needs!
