Findings and Conclusions from the Outcome Evaluation of the National Family Caregiver Support Program

The Older Americans Act Title III-E National Family Caregiver Support Program (NFCSP) is a federal program designed to support the needs of family or other informal caregivers. States provide five core services for caregivers through NFSCP: information about available services; assistance in gaining access to services; education/training, individual counseling, and support groups; respite care; and supplemental services. The Outcome Evaluation of the NFCSP examines questions such as participant-level outcomes and the extent to which participants are receiving other home and community-based long-term support and services.

During this webinar, ACL will present a preview of the results and conclusions from the Outcomes Evaluation, including a description of NFCSP participants’ demographic and caregiving characteristics. The webinar will also review the impact of the program on key caregiving outcomes such as burden and caregiving confidence.
