GAO Report Discussion: What’s Next for Federal Senior Nutrition Programs?

In late December, the Government Accountability Office (GAO) released a report entitled “Nutrition Assistance Programs: Agencies Could Do More to Help Address the Nutritional Needs of Older Adults.” This report contains recommendations for HHS and the USDA to implement to improve federal nutrition programs used by older adults, including Older Americans Act programs and the Child and Adult Care Food Program.
